New lump other breast

I can’t believe I’m writing this I am terrified it’s happening again. I was diagnosed with ILBC in March underwent a lumpectomy in May and had 15 radiotherapy sessions on my left breast and last night I have found a lump on my right breast can this be happening again :pensive::pensive::pensive:

I hope it isn’t happening again, but you should be seen really quickly after having BC only recently. All the very best.

It sounds like a difficult time and it’s understandable to feel terrified when you have found a new lump in your right breast having completed breast cancer treatment earlier this year.

As @ChristineP22 suggests do contact your breast care nurse or treatment team so that they can assess you.

Nearly everyone who has been treated for cancer worries about it coming back (recurrence) and you’re not alone in being anxious about this. The uncertainty and fear of breast cancer returning is very real.

Do call our helpline if you would like to talk this through or have any further questions. The helpline team have time to listen, talk things through and signpost you to more support and information if necessary.
