I have an appointment next Monday after finding a large mass on my left breast, doc found another area of concern on the other side. Family history of breast and ovarian cancer at early ages. I am 32.
Just got over the shock of being referred and the panic, and starting to calm down, when my hubby was rubbing my shoulder area and I thought that fells tender. Had a feel and have found a tender lump, about 5p size and 2" down from my collar bone.
Has any one else had experience of this? Is it a gland? Am I just being paranoid?
I don’t know how you all get through this wait, never mind how those of you that get bad news and have such positivity.
I’m sorry you haven’t had any replies to this post. Waiting for appointments is a very difficult place to be.

Hi there I am 31, found three lumps in my right breast this week (came up v fast ).
8 weeks of chest pain and breathlessness after running a marathon assumed asthma.
Had all tests and biopsies Friday, I have been told to expect cancer- which I didn’t think they tended to do.
Very panicky feeling all sorts of pains and can’t sleep.
Totally understand how you feel - especially as I’m so paranoid finding more lumps.
Please feel free to message me , I’m 31 similar age and mum had cancer at 42.
Thinking of you , Nikki
Thank you Nikki, I have no idea how you are coping. When will you get full diagnosis? I go in tomorrow and desperately hoping to be sent home feeling like a nuisance. I just can’t shake the feeling that something is not right. Do you have much support at home? Message me anytime you like too. I have never known fear like this, never mind being told what you have. I think sometimes in life we don’t get to choose our paths we just have to ride along them, and squeeze as much as we can out of it. I wish you all the best for your path xx
Hi im sorry that you found this, its so frightening and puts the fear of god into you! I too have discovered a hard solid lump under my collar bone, its just to the right of my left arm pit. I saw my gp back in mid may, I am still awaiting my ultra sound appointment! since seeing the GP I have now got another hard lump that doesn’t move next to it mine are painless and don’t move, I also now have slight skin pigmentation where it is and thickening around it. I rung my gp and he just said im on the list, but I feel he is not taking me seriously and now its got worse, also have a painful left breast and dull ache in my armpit, which I partly think is hormonal. But the lumps and thickening concern me. when is your appointment?
