Hiya. Long short story diagnosed May 7th 2018 with stage 1 invasive ductal breast cancer, w high estrogen levels, surgery August, started chemo Oct 4th, am using the penguin cold caps 2 try 2 prevent hair loss, husband lost mom 2 breast cancer when a teenager & didn’t want our kids 2 have 2 go through it, so we wanted as much “normalcy” as possible, also I suffer from bipolar depression so I’m trying 2 stay positive.
After all that I just wanted 2 say hi & it’s great reading all the posts. Makes me feel better.

I am glad you found us my diary was much like yours two years ago! I had surgery in June 2016 and started chemo in August, then I has radiotherapy and finally 18 shots of Herceptin. I also used the cold cap and kept lots of hair.
If you have not already found it get on the relevant chemo monthly thread. You can get and receive lots of support from women at the same stage as you. Good luck with the rest of your treatment.
