I’ve found this mark on one of my breasts and I’ve had it a few weeks now. I initially just thought it was a spot but it seems to have gotten darker and slightly bigger - in fairness I have been poking around with it to see if it’s a spot etc so I’ve probably not helped the appearance of it. I’ve just got back from a hot country too so unsure if that’s maybe the reason it’s not went away.
I’ve made a doctors appointment which isn’t for a months time so I suppose I’m just checking in really to see what anyone thinks - I know nobody can say for sure over a screen but I can’t stop stressing about it.
It’s probably about the size of a 1p and it’s red in colour with a tiny bit of purple. It doesn’t hurt. Very blemish like but it is quite dark.
Thanks for posting. It’s good to read you have made an appointment with your doctor, but waiting for a month can be frustrating and stressful. We are unable to comment on any picture posted.
You might find it helpful to know that breast and skin changes can happen for many reasons. They may be due to hormonal changes as part of your monthly cycle (if you are having periods) or due to benign conditions (not cancer). As you have said poking the area doesn’t help and can cause bruising to the skin and underlying breast tissue. It would seem unlikely that being in a hot country would have any effect.
