morning ladies. im 46yrs old mother of 4(1 an angel) . i started 3wks ago with pain in left breast that was so bad it knocked me off my feet. went to Dr who asked me to go back if pain didnt get better in a wk. So ,went back and was reffered to breast clinic.
I went yesterday .I had a mammogram which was excrusiatingly painfull , had a scan also which picked up cysts on my right breast but nothing on my left.
Told to go home as it was hormonal breast pain and to take evening primrose tablets (which i already do).
As with everyone else i have looked on the net and found out about IBC and the other forms of BC. I saw the High incidences of miss dx of IBC .
There is slight swelling on my lb the pain come from under my arm down to my nipple when it 1st started it wasnt getting to my nipple but now 3wks down the line it is. its like a peace of string attached to my breast bone and my nipple pulling it back when breast isnt supported by my bra. i cant bend forward without holding myself walking down the stairs going over road hups and other jolting movements really hurt.
am i just being paranoid. should i wait a few wks to see if it goes away or go back and ask for second opinion.
Im not very good at taking Dr at ther word sincce i lost my son to a preventable birth deffect after being told it wasnt hereditory.
