New to this.. need some advice

Morning… I have secondary cancer and been living with this for some years… but this year it returned again…3rd time…
Treatment and approachs have changed since my first cancer… got to be honest finding it harder this time as having to live with it actually in my body this time… in glands under my arm… unable to operate too close to large blood vessels…
Also have brittle bones…which I was more ticket off about. .
Had taken a leave ot absent from work and don’t feel that I can capable of returning…this is more mentally. .although I do have some physical bits going on… My job is self emplyed and they are hinting that I need to look after myself and put me first… but I need an income… I am on my late 50 so don’t know what to do…
It would appear people are struggling to get pip and although I know this is considered to be a criical condition wonder why.
Sorry having a moan but don’t know what to do…

Good morning Alfie
Welcome to the forum but you are probably a veteran of all this cancer lark !
Sorry u r having to cope with it all again…it’s a sneaky little blighter that keeps visiting !!
Obviously you are waiting for a treatment plan and yes financially it’s a nightmare when u can’t earn money …
PIP is available and some of us have it …mine is in dispute at moment but maybe you should get some advice about what benefits u can claim to take the pressure off. .
Well I hope u stay with us here …there are so many lovely ladies here that can offer support and kindness. .

Hugs

This has been going on since feb/March time. Been a nightmare to be honest… they changed my meds to tamoxfen… which I don’t feel safe on but what is safe??? Ct scans every three months and bloods. They did find two noduals in a lymh but only 2mm they are unsure whether they have always been there or are new. Basically it is for wait for it to kick off and grow more before they do any more… I official knew it was cancer a couple of weeks ago…they orginally only managed to do a needle one which showed up suspicious then they actaully managed to get a sample to test fully recently. …
