Worth having a look at. This seems to be a new development and one that so far seems to be having good reports. Anyone else heard anything about it?

Well, it could be something and seems more promising than most (given that Scientific American seems to be doing a story on it this month). However, it would still be a while before it makes it through all of the trials. Since it doesn’t mention breast cancer specifically in the blurb, I would guess that the company is trialling it in other cancer patients first, maybe because they believe that it would work better in other cancers or maybe because some other cancers have fewer existing treatments and may present better commercial prospects. Fortunately, dimercept is not the only promising drug in development, so we don’t have to pin all of our hopes on it.
