New white patch

Hello

I’ve noticed a new small white patch on my areola - round circle but i can’t find a lump near that area. I do have multiple fibroadenomas in that breast.

I was at the breast clinic about 6 months ago and the fibroadenomas were biopsied.

I’m reluctant to see my gp unless I have to.

Thanks

Hi kat_ifas

Thanks for your post.

Breast changes such as the white patch on your areola can happen for many reasons. It could be due to benign conditions (not cancer).

Although you have multiple Fibroadenoma in the same breast, the small white patch is a new change so would always suggest you make an appointment with your GP to be assessed.
