best wishes

nana I found the waiting game was the hardest then everything seemed to come to a full stop my surgeon has put me on latrozole last week I am going to see another surgeon at another hospital this week as my condition is hormonal so I may have to have another op
Hey Nana Apple
I’m waiting too. I’m due in this Friday (thank god). They waiting is a nightmare however, I remain hopeful that my journey is moving and a treatment plan will firmly be in place. Although after the op, it will be back to the “waiting room” yet again.
I’m trying to keep myself busy has much as possible during the day. I work from home and spend all day by myself however, my work keeps me busy and my mind occupied. Only disadvantage is that I work on my laptop and keep popping into the forums now and again lol. From around 3pm, it’s all go go go with picking up the kids from school, hubby from work and getting the dinner sorted. Then it’s off to either Rugby, Army Cadets, Dance Class so by around 9pm I’m exhausted and ready for bed.
I do have some quiet periods in the evening - Like yesterday however, I just snuggled up on the sofa with my OH and let the tears flow. I felt so much better after that. Sometimes it’s good to let go a little, even if it is just to release the tension. But do try and keep yourself busy. Get your week planned so that you know what you are doing everyday of the week and that you have something to look forward to before you op.
Good luck for the 9th and I’ll be thinking of you.

Good luck to you for your op… X
Hi,
Had my first op on 11/3 and then ANC on 17/4.
Waiting to see my oncologist to start chemo.
The waiting is surreal, with all the thoughts going through your head.
I wish you luck for the 9th May! It’s my birthday that day.
Keep in touch.
