newbie -referral to Harrogate

New here so hi everyone. Last year I had a small grape sized cyst which was drained by a charming dr in Harrogate so you would think I would remember the procedures howwver…
I have a large lump in the other breast and puckering. Whilst I have lumpy breast (what a great description) this lump seems to be a good fistful. I have been referred to Harrogate and wonder if anyone has experience of taking a large unwanted guest there? Will they take a core biopsy and if so how quickly will I get a result? Am I likely to have the lump removed if its not bc?
Thanks

Hi storminateacup

Firstly welcome to the forums, I’m sorry to read you’re having a worrying time at the moment. May I suggest that whilst you are waiting for the other users to reply with their experience and knowledge you give the BCC helpline a call on 0808 800 6000. Here you can talk through your thoughts and concerns with a member of staff who will offer you a listening ear as well as emotional support and practical information. Lines are open weekdays 9 to 5pm and Saturday 10 to 2pm.

Best wishes Sam, BCC Facilitator

Just wonering how you got on with this in the end?
