I discovered a hard pea sized lump close to my nipple on Sunday. The skin looks red but it isnt sore. Started on HRT 3 weeks ago so it could possibly be a side effect but hate the drs and am hoping I can wait until I go back for a check up in about 4-5 weeks. What do you think?
Hi Claire,do you really want that worry hanging over you for another 5 weeks?I know it’s scary but most breast lumps turn out to be nothing to worry about and your G.P may be able to reassure you.Grit your teeth and make an appointment -could you bring forward your other appointment so you only have to go once ?Hate medical appointment myself so I know how you feel.Let us know how you get on.Jill.
Glad you got it checked ,it can take a while to get to the bottom of things.Has he referred you for an ultrasound scan?
He will probably have referred you to the breast clinic .
