Nipple discharge 8 mo post Radiotherapy

Before any diagnoses women are advised to look out for certain signs. I remember reading nipple discharge, inverted nipple.

What if that’s the case 8 months after radiotherapy? I felt a lump under the nipple inward the treated breast two months ago and had a mammogram and US, said was nothing suspicious. Begin August I noticed a small crust where I felt the lump two months earlier. It healed. A few days ago I noticed discharge like puss the very same spot and another crust.

Anyone had this after treatment? ( I am on letrozole and Abemaciclib)

Nipple discharge 8 months after radiotherapy is not a standard expected side effect and requires a prompt medical evaluation by your doctor or oncologist .A diagnostic mammogram or breast ultrasound to view the milk ducts and underlying tissue is recommended.
