About a month ago I thought I had crumbs in my bra because my nipple felt as though it was being irritated by something. Nothing was there and my nipple looked normal. I changed my bra, changed my washing powder but the irritation has persisted.
I can’t pin point exactly where this feeling is on my nipple. It comes from underneith and feels like a little rodent is nibbling away. Sometimes it stops and gives me relief but only for a couple of hours or so.
My doctor doesn’t know what’s causing it but suggested it was probably a combination of dry skin and dermal irritation. He couldn’t find a lump and has told me its nothing to be concerned about.
Yesterday I felt as though my entire right brest was burning and that has continued into this morning…I had a bad nights sleep. It was also itching through the night to the point of waking me up.
This morning I’ve googled my symptoms and it comes up with Pagets disease but Pagets disease has other symptoms that I certainly don’t have.
I know I need to get this checked out but with an unconcerned doctor, where do I turn?
