No histology results at post op check

Hi, had lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy 10 days ago and follow up post op appointment was today.
Surgeon was very happy with healing of scar, but histology results weren’t back so I now have to wait another week before I know treatment plan.

A phone call has been booked for next Wednesday to discuss the results with me, but it won’t be my surgeon now as she’s off next week.

Feeling really fed up tonight, had been expecting to be able to get my head into planning ahead mode, now I’ve got another week of not knowing what I have to ‘look forward to’ and any time frame for treatment.

Also not happy about it being just a phone call to tell me treatment plan and also with some male surgeon I’ve never met.

Oh I feel for you. 
I had exactly the same a while ago and Ive had to wait a further 11 days for results. 
its gruelling isn’t it? Im still waiting  

Ive tried to look at it as opportunity to carry on recovering, eating healthily, exercising, and enjoying things I might not if treatment makes me tired or poorly. 

The waiting is absolutely the worst thing ever 

At least if we knew the results our imagination wouldn’t be able to run riot.
