No pain after my biopsies

I have had three diagnostic biopsies. I didn’t realise that it was possible to not have any pain afterwards. First I had a vacuum-assisted needle biopsy. Went back to work the next day. Took things easy but no pain at all. They wanted to do another one. Same afterwards. Then they said they needed to do an excision biopsy under general anaesthetic but as day-surgery and to stock up on paracetamol and ibuprofen. I’ve been really surprised, but I haven’t needed any painkillers at all. They took the big plaster off after two weeks and I’m having to be a bit careful not to knock my breast, but still fine. I’m one of these people who whinges if you knock into me and wouldn’t consider myself to have a high pain threshold. Thought I’d share, because I thought I’d have pain after and I didn’t.
(They still haven’t found anything that is cancer either).
