Hi
I’m triple positive, had lumpectomy, chemo and radio which finished in March 2025. Finished Herceptin jabs in October 2025.
My nose was always bloody/dried blood whilst on Herceptin. It got better when I finished in October.
Anyway, I’ve currently getting over the flu and my nose is so painful, I had dried blood/bogies (sorry tmi!) and long blood clots.
Anyone else had this? I know nose bleeds were a side effect of chemo, but they’ve come back with a vengeance. Xx
I am also HER2+ and this is a great thread to join
Hi everyone- just dropping in to wish you all a Merry Christmas x it’s a quiet one here as my daughter has gone to her dads so it’s just me and hubby .. last year I felt like death on Christmas Day as I’d just had chemo on the 19th .. that year has gone quickly ..
@naughty_boob I hope you are feeling a bit better .
@jeml It’s great to hear from you , I can’t believe it’s a year since your surgery !
@carrie5 I’m completely digging your pink hair! You are Amazing x
@emma-jayne Fingers cros…
Many of us had nose bleeds on treatment, most have resolved once treatment finished. I don’t think losing nose hair with chemo helps. I was told not to blow too hard and try to just dab your nose. If you are getting large clots, it might be a good idea to call your helpline.
