He was very cagy and evasive with me as if just telling me that was enough for today but have a feeling there is more going on. Anyway thats femara stopped and starting xeloda tomorrow have been reading the other thread on it and i hope and pray i can tolerate it but obviously now as if i wasnt scared before i am terrified now. please again any words of wisdom would help a very frightened person tonight

Dear Max
I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve had some bad news. Please know that we are thinking of you. I have liver and bone mets and had 6 cycles of Capecitabine and had some fairly positive results. With regards to my primary chemo I found it very doable. No real side effects and, as it’s oral, no intrusive drips. Many people on here have had excellent results from this drug and I hope it will be the same for you. It’s such a stressful time and this disease can be very frightening.
If you want any further info on capcitabine, please do not hesitate to PM me.

I have to have more chemo too and i am starting 2-3wks time on carboplatin as the last one didn’t do much good, hope you get on well with your new one and it really works for you.
Good luck to you and to me.
