Hi, My mum and my aunt both died of BC at quite a young age and i may be being paranoid just wanted an opinion really… for a few months now i have had itching breasts… i went for a mammogram a few years ago as as i felt some thickening and it came back clear. For about a week not i have what i thought was a simple spot/boil on my left breast near my nipple… at first glance looked like it would get a head and burst so just left it to sort itself out. The head has never appeared and now the skin surrounding it has flaked away leaving it pretty raw. i am getting really bad shooting pains in the breast now and it feels really heavy.
Should i see a doctor or am i over thinking it and its just a spot, i dont want to waste anyones time

Go to see your GP Sharon and tell him/her you are concerned, moreso because of your Mum and Aunt. You won’t be wasting the doctor’s time - better to be checked than worry about it.
Sharon, you will not be wasting your gps time, they advertise constantly to be breast aware and that’s what your doing. Chase it up that way you will have no regrets. Hope it’s nothing but it will put your mind at rest . Good luck x
Hi Sharon
Definitely go with the advice that you need to get this checked. You are not wasting anyone’s time, this is why we have Doctors.
Hopefully this is nothing, but if you don’t keep a check on yourself, no one will do for it for you.
Fingers crossed its a nasty spot!

Hi…deffo go get it checked out…my nipple itched for ages on my right side and I ignored it…unfortunately mine turned out to be BC…go to see your GP as soon as…better safe and all that…most breast problems are nothing but explain to your GP of your anxiety and this will put your mind at rest…
Hi Sharon I totally agree with the rest of the girls you need to get yourself checked by your gp. Hope all goes well for you.
