Hello ladies. Cherry you are in work and you have hair!! Well done you. It will ptobably feelbetter with all the loose ones gone!
You reminded me of the time when we were teenagers and my friend who lived 4 doors away called me at night sobbing! She said please can you come Please!!! I thought her mother had died! Anywsy i rushed to hers to find her with a small round brush stuck 9n the top of her lovely long blonde hair. I was wetting myself laughing trying to detangle it. The more she sobbed the more i laughed. Anyway we got there in the end and we are still friends now!!
I am like a monk today bald on top with a little hair round the sides! But like SueW i am loving my wig and i’m wearing it with confidence! I am even planning on getting another one for a change!
Shi i have got my honey today
It is called LIFE MEL HONEY and it is £38 for 120g. It lasts 12 days and you start taking it the day after treatment. You take 5g of a morning on an empty stomach and 5g at night. You have to suck it slowly. The lady who recommended it to me took it after each treatment and never got any infections at all. Heres hoping!! Hope you get out today chick xx
Sue, mai7 gave good advise about scalp care and told me about that scalp care kit from beauty despite cancer, you need to purchase oil additional too though as their new kit doesn’t include it now. Hope that helps ??shi xx
Ali49 thanks for tip about life Mel honey, i’ll Be ordering as soon as I get home. Runnerbean, hope your hair stays with you till you get your wig cut???shi xx
Ha ha Ali, I’ve done the get a brush stuck in my hair thing to the point that I think they were invented by the devil! Haven’t used a brush on mine in about 20 years! Wide tooth comb for me all the way!
Hi everyone mums just come into hospital with manuka honey, in Aldi £6.99 you need to ask for it though as not with other honeys. Hope that helps. ???shi xx
Hi everyone. Been to Look Good Feel Better course this morning. It was brilliant! The beauticians took us through regime from cleansing to make up. They were great for advice and happy to answer questions. Came away with a lovely bag full of goodies estimated to be worth c£250.
If you haven’t booked on yet do it! Great tips for drawing on eyebrows and enhancing eyes of lashes fall out. Well worth it and it’s totally free.
I would like to just mention the Macmillan volunteers who are so lovely and cannot do enough for you when you go in. They also make great cups of tea!!
Not sure karana, but I am still getting the Mel life honey when I am home, this is to just try and get me outta here and Home, so o can stop driving everyone crazy on ours and mays forums, I’ve been a maniac with cabin fever, so apols to everyone for driving anyone nuts with all the posts. ??shi xx

Hi Shi. If you go on their website, search look good feel better, you can search for your nearest course and book online. I had to book mine direct with chesterfield as it wasn’t on their website for some reason. Well worth it. It was a good laugh

Ali thanks for tip on coconut water too, anything to help this not happen again my next hi ho hi ho it’s off to fec I go is due next week! Lovely? jencat, hope you have got on ok today, please let us know, by the way your pee will be colour of tizer for a bit because of the red one in the fec???shi xx
It started about 10 and finished about 12.30 with a break about half way through. It was quite relaxed and they didn’t rush through anything. It was good I enjoyed it. Just searched all the stuff in my bag and totals £290 If you wanted to buy it all separately.
I was looking at the manuka honey yesterday in H&B it’s half price at the moment but still about £18. Perhaps I might try the Aldi one, although Ali you’re right I wonder if it’s the real thing? Just got home from work, did ok but it’s tougher than working from home and I don’t seem to get as much done! Kept washing my hands and using my anti-bac hand wash, paranoid about picking up a bug from someone. Nice to see people though.
Cherry how did you go at work today, did anyone comment on your hair!
