Hi Amanda

Like you i am new to this site although i have been reading through the various threads and have found the the sharing of experiences by these amazing women truly inspirational.

I have been diagnosed with a 13mm Grade 2 IDC HER2Negative, my surgery is scheduled for 5 October.

Still awaiting the results of the hormone receptor test, and a biopsy taken shows benign LN involvement.

I have a sentinel  lymph node proceedure scheduled for the same day.

I will be posting here post op, but  juust wanted to say that today I feel positive.

Wishing you well.

Hi all
Lumpectomy on the 10th. Thinking of all you lovely ladies xx

I had WLE to remove my nipple on 5th September due to having Paget’s disease.  It was day surgery - I was in for anesthetic at 4pm, awake at 5.20 and allowed to leave hospital at 7.30pm.   Glad to say I’ve felt absolutely fine and scar healing nicely with no pain at all.   I need 3 weeks of  radiotherapy for which I’m waiting for appointments.   I actually feel really well both mentally and physically x

Hello Amanda
Ive just had my lumpectomy and Sentinal Node removal just 2 days ago. Apart from being sore I am not in pain. I was in pain from my “lump” weeks before my surgery, especially at night and I had visions of it growing but happy to say that pain has now gone. You will be fine. It’s something you need to get through to get to the next stage of your revovery and I saw it as a welcomed positive stage to be moving on after diagnosis. See you on the otherside! xxxx

Thank you!
It is all getting too clise to 20th now and fear creeping in. I go from treating this as a tooth being removed to major surgery… Then there is the 2 week wait again, I just want this to be over and get on with my life… *sigh*
Struggling a bit…
