Hi. After 6 sessions of ECD, I developed oedema in my feet / lower legs, about 3 weeks after treatment. 5 weeks later, it’s not resolved - tried some diuretics, and I keep my legs elevated as much as I can.
In the past few days, I am getting an extremely itchy patch on my lower legs.
Is this just a normal side effect, or do I need my GP?
Thanks!
Although oedema can be caused by cancer treatment, there are many reasons why oedema develops.
It’s not clear who prescribed you diuretics but do speak to your treatment team or GP about this symptom. They can assess you and decide what might help other than what you are trying already
