On tamoxifen - and now zolodex and still having periods...

Hi ladies,

I started Tamoxifen about three months ago and my periods returned after a short break after chemo, so oncologist has prescribed zolodex injections to reduce oestrogen production. I had my first injection a couple of weeks ago and I have just started another period - though it seems to be slightly lighter than normal. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and whether I need to be worried?

I was warned that I’d probably have one last period on Zoladex and I did. Was lighter than normal (though felt dreadful beforehand). I hope that reassures you. It’s quite normal, apparently (thought you should tell your team if you have continue).

When I started zoladex and tamoxifen it took 3 months for my periods to stop.
