Oncotype DX for highgrade DCIS

Has anyone had the Oncotype DX test for DCIS?

I just had this test on a friends recommendation and am shocked to find my result is 72 which is very high risk of reoccurance - feel very concerned about the high oncotype score as the report has a graph that does not go beyond a score of 70. This has freaked me out… trying to stay calm but dont understand what this means

My original biopsy result was solid and comedo high grade DCIS in sections spanning 42mm - the Quick Score 8 and PR Score 7 - Ive just had a WLE and now waiting the results…

If I have a MX was hoping to avoid hormone therapy- but guessing this result will mean it is inevitable…does anyone know anything about this?

My partner didnt want me to have the Sentinel node taken so i didnt do it but now regretting this as feel with this oncotype result my risks are higher than i originally thought…

Hi - just came across your query and although I haven’t heard of the test - is it in U.S.? I’m in week 3 from a mx and DIEP reconstruction for DCIS. I got my pathology results today and it’s non invasive, already knew it was high grade and large area confirmed plus had sentinel nodes done for the immediate reconstruction. They are recommending tamoxifen as preventative which I also hoped to avoid but haven’t tested hormone receptors and I want more info and saw your test reference and wondered what progress you’d made since your earlier post. I hope things are getting there for you.
