Hey everyone hope you’re all OK!
I had my oncotype score back today which was 25 and have an appointment with oncologist next week so have to wait to find out about chemo etc which BCN it isn’t a definite but will certainly be up for discussion. I just wanted to ask what chemo you’ve been on if you were diagnosed with anything similar to below:
I’m pre menopausal mid 30’s
I had a lumpectomy for a 13mm idc Hormone positive her2 negative tumor, grade 3, ki-67 30% proliferation no LVI, no lymph node involvement
Just wanting to know what kind of chemo and how many cycles I’m likely to be offered although I know we’re all different and if will be individualised to me just so I have an idea. No other health conditions other than mild asthma x

Hi, I was similar, Mid30s, 22mm IDC, hormone positive her2 negative, grade 2, ki-67 15%, no lymph node involvement.
I started with 3 rounds of epirubicin and cyclophosamide (EC) every 3 weeks and was then meant to have 3 rounds of Docetaxel but I found the EC hard work so was switched onto 9 sessions of weekly Paclitaxel instead.
I’ve seen some people have docetaxel before the EC, I don’t know it if really matters which way round they are
Hi @katie91 i was almost exactly the same as you except I was grade 2 with a Ki-67 of 15-20%. My oncotype was 25 as well.
I was given the choice of whether to have chemo or not but decided I wanted to throw everything at it in the hope it wouldn’t come back. Unfortunately for me it still came back but obviously that’s not the case for everyone. I am cancer free again now though (long may it last!)
I had 3x EC once every 3 weeks and 3x Docetaxol once every three weeks.
I hope you’re able to make a decision that sits right with you from what your oncologist offers and gives you the best outcome you could hope for.
