Hello, I have recently been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and a mastectomy was carried out two weeks ago. My lymph nodes were also taken and 1 out of the 8 had been affected.
I am 49 and have been asked if I would be interested in taking part in the Optima testing?
Has anyone else been offered this and if so what are there thoughts or anyone who has or is taking part in the trial.

I’m sorry no one has responded yet - you could try posting in the Going Through Treatment board where more people are likely to see it.
Alternatively, if you want to talk things through, or find more support, Breast Cancer Care’s breast care nurses are only at the end of a telephone line. You can call free on 0808 800 6000 - Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm.
