I wanted to let you know about the breast reconstruction animated films we launched recently on the website. These were made in response to lots of women contacting us to ask if we could do something visual to help more clearly explain reconstructive surgery and the impact it has on your body.

Just played through these. I don’t think they give any more information than your leaflets and personally I would encourage anyone considering this to read Dick Rainsbury’s excellent book. You are far more likely to get an idea of outcomes from that. Additionally I would encourage ladies to engage with Plastic Surgeons and not Breast Surgeons as plastic surgeons are far more concerned with giving you something aesthetically better whereas many (not all) general surgeons specialising in breast surgery will often aim to give you something to put in a bra and AMOENA can do that.
