Although my hair grew back awhile ago and I’ve had it cut a few times, I still can’t manage it and it sticks out all over the show. 6-year old grandson said to me last night, “Nanna, don’t you ever comb your hair for nits?”!!!
lol - kids just don’t care what they say do they! I think it’s brilliant. My best friend passed away last December very suddenly at the age of 41, leaving 5 kids between the ages of 24 and 8. When they were told I had cancer but was going to be ok the youngest decided he needed some answers so he phoned me … in amongst other things he said ‘listen, if you are going to die can you not do it in the summer- cos well Mam ruined christmas last year by dying, and Anuty Mich is taking me on holiday in September and I’d like to not have to be sad when I am there’
