Hi ladies i need advice… i was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in 2018. I was 36 years old and 9 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby. I had surgery, chemo during the pregnancy and radiotherapy after my precious boy arrived. My cancer was estrogen and progestrone positive with no node involvement. I was commenced on zoledex monthly injections and exemestane 25mg daily. My oncologist wants to stop the monthly injections, but tells me my chances of reoccureence will increase. Have any of you ladies been on zoledex longer than the recommended 5 years? I am on a waiting list for ovary removal, but reading up on heart disease etc and other side effects frightens me!
