dont know if anybody out there can help me with this but here goes i have been told that i have a grade 1 stage 1 tubular ductal invasive cancer as well as LCIS. my first consultant recommended a masectomy but wanted a second oppinion as apparently it is a complicated case as everybody keeps telling me. on going to see the second consultant he has advised against the masectomy as he as stated that my own body genetics have shown that i will only ever grow a grade 1 cancer in the future and it will never kill me!!! my biological mother died at 57 of a very aggresive cancer and even though i have not been tested for the genetic gene he has stated this would not matter now as my own body has shown them what i would grow in the future. i am going back to discuss this with my original consultant as he is not aware of any research about this and neither does anybody elseseem to be. i was just wondering if anybody else has had this type of diagnosis or anything similar
