I’ve just come home from hospital after having an exchange of tissue expander for implant in my left breast which had undergone an igap reconstruction 3 years ago but which wasn’t big enough, plus an implant in my right breast to even things up a bit. The op seems to have gone quite well but the post op pain is excruciating, a bit like really, really bad stabbing pins & needles. Is this normal & how long will it last? I’m also very tearful and wishing I hadn’t gone down the reconstruction road at all now. Just hoping everything will settle down soon and all these horrible feelings will pass.
