Pain after infusion

Hello. First post person here. Had surgery 19th October. Awaiting beginning of radiotherapy next week. Reason for my post is Ive just had my first zolendronic acid infusion. (13th Dec) All went well during infusion but have since had horrendous hip & knee pain on one side(I have new hip on other side). Resorted to codeine but still horrible. Anybody else had similar? If so did it take long to get better? Any tips? Thankyou. :pensive:

Thankyou so much for your reply. I feel much better now a few days later . The psin was very intense & I was probably afraid it would last a long time. I will mention it at my review at the end of January.

Yes. I’ve got my third one on Monday but have had awful neck, spine and head pain and lower back/ hips after both. It’s lasted a week in my case and I had chills and fever also. It just wasn’t expected as they’d said it could be uncomfortable but it was really quite painful. It does just suddenly subside though. Hope you can rest through it a bit x
