Pain in breast, underarm/rib and back at work full time

I have seen a few posts on here that it’s quite normal to still be in pain months after a lumpectomy and radiotherapy, but how did you all manage with work?

It’s really starting to get me down and I’m wondering if I have made the right decision going back full time, I started a new job (my dream job) 8 days after finishing radio.

Thanks in advance x

Alabama :heart:You’ve done a lot soon after finishing rads, well done. The rads still impact for a few weeks after finishing, try keeping as hydrated as you can, it does help with fatigue ?? see if you can do shorter hours for a bit, it’s be a shame to loose out now you’ve got your dream job, I had op, 6 chemo and rads and like you went back full time 2 weeks after finishing treatments, it is exhausting to start with, but a couple of months in and resting at night and it’s been fine that was over a year ago now. Listen to your body and don’t over do it unnecessarily. Use the helpline on here to get more specific advise as to what you are entitled to or speak to your Macmillan and see what they say ??:sparkles::sparkles:Shi xx
