Pain in joints

Hi everyone. I am on Tamoxifen since 1.5 years. I was diagonused with BC at 24. I dont have any family history n dint go through chemo or radiotherapy. Infact I left my treatment n went to my hubby abroad. I had a baby then. After 5 months of my delievery I saw my oncologist n he prescribed tamoxifen 10+10 mg. after one year of its use I felt terrible pain in my knees n its still there. Accompained by pain in wrists, elbows, ankles, n finger joints. Is it tamoxifen responsible of this joint pain. Anyone with the same problem here? Please help.

I know by now you have your answers, but I am on Tamoxifen going on two years, and I am having crazy pains in my left elbow, right hip and random fingers.  Most of the pain comes and goes and its not debilitating but definitely distracting.   Every time I lift my coffee, I think of my elbow.    My other weird issues are bruising randomly, looking like I was beaten and I never know what from.   And my weight is insane.  And the hot flashes.  And a crazy discharge that resembles a yeast infection.  But other than that, its all good.  :)   I continue to be glad to be here to complain about it all.

Hi I have now been taken off of tamoxifen due to the severe side effects that I experienced the joint pain was horrific and so was the feeling low in mood and exhaustion. I have now been off it for 7 weeks but still have the joint pain I am going for a bone density scan on Sunday to see if my chemo may have caused brittle bones
