I posted a couple of days ago to say I found a lump. My appointment with the clinic is 12.12.07.
I have been experiencing some pain were the lump is located. It is a dull pain. Is this normal. I keep getting told that pain is a good sign that it is just a cyst type lump not the dreaded C word.
I would be grateful for any advice from any one who has had the same experience.
Sorry I can’t give you reassurance as my lump hurt a bit and it did turn out to be cancer. The only way they can be certain is to carry out biopsies on the cells and then they can tell.
I didn’t have any pain with my lump, so can’t help I’m afraid. As molennium says - the only sure way to determine the cause is to carry out tests on the area. Good luck for the 12th - I hope all goes well and you don’t have to re-join us here - other than to tell us your good news!!
Hi Chrissie - I almost feel I don’t want to answer your question - but that would be to perpetuate the myth that bc tumours are not associated with pain. All of mine have been accompanied by pain. Of course neither does that mean that it is bc. I hope that you get good news at your appointment next week.
