Painful Breast lump on right side, doesn't feel like a cyst, scared

So I went to my Dr late Friday afternoon for a med ck and I mentioned that I was having pain in my right breast on the right side of my breast and I could feel something. I had mentioned about to months ago when I had my yearly exam that sometimes I can feel a lump or possibly lumps in the same area and she called it something? Something in regards to hormones just before period. Anyway this time I already had my period and the pain made me notice the lump. The pain started maybe six days after my period. Dr felt it and said it felt like a cyst but was going to refer me to breast clinic to have ultra sound. Still waiting to hear from breast clinic. Anyway I tend to get all freaked out feeling for lumps and I hadn’t really touched it to much to investigate but now I am cause it still hurts and it’s uncomfortable and I’m worried. It is some what oval with the ends of it feeling almost like a break in it like a line through it? The lump feels hard and more flat to me and it’s over an inch long. I’ve been having neck, back, and arm pain but not sure if that’s from work since I work as a dog groomer and I’ve also been spending a lot of time typing today for an essay I have due in class. I turn 40 this October. I am also extremely tired but then again I’ve been very busy with life. My fathers mom had breast cancer but she died from a blood clot after breast surgery in the 80s from what I was told. I have also lost weight over the past year but I was put on adderall 10mg for anxiety and that can cause weight loss plus last winter I was going to gym but haven’t since spring. I’ve lost a total of 40lbs making me 125 and I’m 5’2 in height. I’m sorry I’m just being as descriptive as possible. Has anyone had anything similar? I’m starting to get really scared cause this lump doesn’t feel like a cyst to me from everything I’ve read.
