Hi Ladies
I was wondering if any of you have encountered pain in your lower legs. I’ve been having problems for several months now and the pain seems to be increasing.
Any pressure put on the limb is sometimes too painful to bear, i have an appointment at the end off October to see the oncologist so was hoping not to have to mither any one until then but sometimes the pain is unbearable and i’m not controlling it very well mainly because i have such a low tolerance to drugs of any strength. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Will be intrested to Know how you go on on Tuesday.
Hi Carole
is this is below the knee pain ? I have had this on and off in my right leg since my secondaries diagnosis - even had it x rayed and of course they came up with nothing. Its been anything from nothing, than dull ache to not being able to stand on it. Would be interested if anyone has something similar comes up with a solution!
Maz - hope you get some relief - you should not have to cope with that, and carole of course same to you.
Yes its below the Knee and yes when xrayed there was no problems found, you describe my problem perfectly. GP said i need a bone scan, i could go to my trial nurse as i’m part of the Tact 2 trial but don’t want to bother them. Sometimes wonder how much is in my head maybe i worry too much.
Nothing showed on the bone scan for me… I have mets in my hips and I would say its not the same pain, but of course I can’t be sure. When it hurts I get some relief if I raise my leg up and massage the lower leg for about 5 minutes…I doubt very much this is in your head but I think this may not be significant as its not progressive , that its something to do with shin splints or similar. Do let me know if you find out something…
