Hi all

do you know what are the reasons why the oncologists would reduce Palbocyclib?

Since Christmas I have had several UTI infections followed by Covid.

so now the onc is suggesting that I have a reduced dosage.

Does anyone know if this would impact the spread of the cancer?

Hello,

I think it’s quite common to have low neutrophil, which does lead to a dose reduction or greater breaks if it’s constant. I think the main thing is that you’re still able to take palbo.

Hi there,

I have just had a reduction after 2 cycles of Palbo. My Nuetrofills dropped to .4    So Im now taking 100mgs and seeing how that goes. I beleive its quite common to have dose reduction for differing reasons on Palbo.  XX take care
