Can anyone please tell me what a palpable lymph node is please?? Many thanks x

Hi @butterfly28 , it’s a lymph node that can be felt by the person examining you.

Thank you. Just I had surgery on Tuesday and on the histology that has been sent off it’s listed as palpable lymph nodes as well as lymph nodes.

As jules_n said.
I had this on my report too, they were suppossed to perform a sln biopsy during surgery but ended up taking 4 nodes instead and sent them to pathologist. All four came back negative.
