Just rung the BCN to see if my CT scan results were back. She said that the report just said partial and they were waiting for the full report.
I am worried now - has anyone else been told the same thing but with a good end result. I am going away for the weekend tomorrow and OH said he didn’t want any more bad news before we went away and could we wait until we got back to get the result.

Hi yes want they mean is the results are on screen but written report is not done yet I know it’s a pain but they don’t rush looks like u have to wait to mon as onc won’t see it to then unless y lucky that’s wat happened to me anyway try enjoy y weekend away I no it’s hard results always are tc Laura
Yes happened to me too; had to wait the weekend so nothing sinister behind being told that.

My experience has been that, if there is something quite significant that needs treating, they contact you asap. This happened when my blood clots were found in both lungs. The consultant rang me that same day as my scan so we could start treatment the same day.

Phew, thanks guys. I feel a bit better now. Will try and relax a little this weekend. Not quite the 2 weeks in the sun that we had booked but better than nothing and we can put the money away for next year.
Well it was good news!
CT scan results have come back as normal - whoop!
Still got to go through chemo, surgery and rads but feel much much more positive and hopeful.
