Patient and carer priorities in secondary bone cancer – Part two

What is the name of the project?

Patient and carer priorities in secondary bone cancer – Part two

What is the project about?

This study will seek to determine the outcomes from orthopaedic (bone and joint) treatment for patients with secondary bone cancer which are deemed most important by patients and their relatives/carers.

The first stage has now closed and the results have been analysed and used to generate the second stage study questionnaire. This will allow new participants (including those who were involved before) to provide their opinions on the finalised set of outcome indicators that will help us to identify which aspects of cancer treatment are most important to patients.

Who is organising it?

Dr Samantha Downie, University of Edinburgh
