I finished chemo in July 2015 and by November my nails had recovered, even the ridges had grown out. But now the top layer from two of my finger nails have started to peel from the middle of the nail again.
Otherwise my nails feel strong and I have no other issues.
Has anyone else had this? Is this just a delayed side effect or could it be an indication of calcium deficiency or something else all together? Any tips would be appreciated as I have to wear plasters to prevent the nails catching on everything…
