Hi
Can anyone help? Was diagnosed Jan 06 and my periods stopped Apr 06 during chemo and have not had one until last night!!! I am 42 now. I have tiredness, cramp and bleeding but not as heavy as period used to be, is this normal???
Have also noticed that i have not been as dry in the last few months but thought this was down to the fact that i have lost 2 1/2 stone since Sept.
Will give BC nurse a phone on Monday as I am aware that Letrozole is for post-menopause.
Has anyone else had this experience? I am rying not to worry too much.

Hi Elaine,
Didn’t have this problem with letrozole but did have similar problems with tamoxifen. Really think that as it’s been nearly two years since a period you must to talk to a medical professional and do it quickly the more you think about it the more up tight you will become. This is unusual and needs checking.

Hi Elaine,
I was dx Mar 2005 and my periods stopped immediately the chemo started. I had a bleed a couple of weeks ago and my Onc has referred me to a gynes. I am 43yrs old and am due to get my ovaries out next month and Onc has requested that gynea take a biopsy of womb when her removes the ovaries. I totally agree with Kiwi you need to check it out - just phone your Onc.
