I’ve come off Tamoxifen in April 09, I managed 4 years. I came off due to the side effects. I was experiencing severe moods swings (combined with Venflaflxine) I had Bi-Polar symptoms which were extremely hard to cope with. Now my mind is relatively better than it ever has been 
Although my periods have returned with avengence. I was diagnosed in Aug 04 - I was still breast feeding at the time. So basically I haven’t had a proper period since before getting pregnant. I know my body has to get back to normal, but I am slightly concerned about the effect Tamoxifen has on the endiometium - Am I worrying too much or should I go and get it checked out.

Hi Binnie… Ive only just started on tamoxifen and i already hate it so well done for sticking at it for 4 years… This evening i started feeling a bit sorry for myself and doubted that i would last 4 months on it never mind 4 years!! I have no advice for you just wanted to big you up!! I long for the day i get my period again!!! Although, i’ll regret saying that one day! If your worried or unsure of something, speak to your GP or oncologist… Its there job to answer your questions and put your mind at ease… Anyways, im off to bed now, got my FINAL radio tomorrow!!! i had really dreadful periods on tamox after just a few months so needed a hysteroscopy and d and c and while they were at it i asked them to bung in a mirena coil… its been a godsend.
def go and get it checked out if you have any irreg bleeding… also make sure your smear is up to date and you can asked for swabs to be done at the same time just to check there is no underlying cause.
i found the larger green pack ?sandoz made bleeding worse than the smaller cp pharm now called workhardt which only caused fuzzy head and flushes but take it at night time so worse symtoms occur when im asleep so dont notice them
