Peripheral Neuropathy

One side effect I really hoped would not happen, well, it started yesterday. The tips of my fingers are starting to feel strange, and the soles of my feet are tingling. I had my third cycle of chemo 12 days ago, it was Docetaxol and Cyclophosphamide. Does anyone have any advice?

I have it in my feet - you can get treatment talk to your oncologist.
I was told to keep exercising and using my feet as well as to massage them so I purchased massage oil (as it was my feet I bought a foot massager) maybe there is one similar for hands/fingers.
The sensation is horrible some reports say it can go away after chemo has finished - I finished my chemo end of last Dec (but on the good side it has not got any worse)
Sometimes when really bad I take paracetamol but not that often.
If you google it there is lots of advice hopefully there will be other replies on here as well.

Hope you get some relief.

Hi. I did experience a little bit of tingling in my fingertips but I had terrible nerve pain. It was so bad, that I was only sleeping 1 or 2 hours a night. After a lot of research and keeping on at my dr, they agreed to put me on a very low dose of amitriptyline. It took about 3 weeks to kick in but now I no longer have the pain
