Glad it all went well. Rest and heal. It’s a lot to deal with emotionally and physically.

Glad to hear you’re doing well after your second op. I don’t know about you but I think the waiting room seems to get easier to occupy the more you visit. ![]()
Best of luck for your results x
@foxgem Well done to you for getting this far, be kind to yourself, lots of rest and nice treats.
Wishing you well with happiness ahead

I have my first oncology meeting today. No idea what to expect and at the same time worrying I’m expecting too much as I know I will want all the info haha. I’m desperate to know my plan but also worried about what that means because once I know I’ll research the life out of it.
Hoping to find out the results from my op also. Taking it as a good sign my surgeon was hopeful enough to book me the oncology appointment.
What a ride this rollercoaster is!
Hiya @foxgem … I hope that today goes well (so-to-speak) for you … may I ask how long you had to wait for your oncology appointment? … thank you ![]()
I had my official diagnosis on 3rd November, a lumpectomy on the 11th December and another (just a scrape to get clear margins) on 5th February. My surgeon said the results of that shouldn’t affect the next stage so they booked the oncology before waiting for those results.
Hope that helps. X
I hope it all goes well for you today with your oncology meeting and you get all the information and answers you need for your next step in this journey.
I have read so many of your posts and you have been so very supportive and positive to all on this forum and many others.
Hope it goes well love xx
I agree with you … very much so … @foxgem super supportive ![]()
Thank you @foxgem ![]()
So they are throwing everything at it. 4 lots of EC every 2 weeks and then 4 lots of pacliyaxel every 2 weeks.
Should start within 3 weeks time.
Even though I knew what to expect, hearing it officially was hard. I got a lot more upset than I expected ![]()
Sending love @foxgem x
Sending you a very big hug. I was discharged from surgery last week and have oncology appointment Friday 27th. Dreading the reality of chemo treatment schedule. Hope when you’ve had a chance to sit with the plan emotions will settle. You’ve got this. Xx
I’m so pleased you know what is happening, it’s been a long journey.
you may want to join the monthly chemo starters thread. This is the link for February and the March will be up soon. I found it helpful to read previous months to get an idea of what it was all about. I was on two threads 4 months apart as I thought I was having chemo first then it changed to after surgery. I kept up with both threads and it was very supportive.
Take care.

Thank you so much
How is your treatment going?
Thank you for asking.
I’m on aromatase inhibitors and due to have my 5/6 zoledronic acid infusion in two weeks. This journey is not always plain sailing. I am having some tests for ongoing issues. Fingers crossed it’s nothing to worry about but the waiting for tests and results doesn’t get any easier.
Helping others on this forum is a good distraction and I’ve learnt so much about my own situation from others.

Bless you. And I bet you thought all the waiting room stuff had finished. It feels never ending but I hope to keep in mind they are testing to find whats best for us ![]()
It helps so much doesnt it. X
Hiya @foxgem … there is a March thread already set up … I’ll find it and see if I can work out how to share!!
I think that I’ll be joining you as a March starter as I have my first oncology appointment on Monday and I’m TN, so I’m hopeful that things will move quick after Monday - Kerry ![]()
Thank you @big
