I work in the policy team at Breast Cancer Care and have written a briefing for healthcare profesionals, other cancer charities and policymakers about the issues related to being a lesbian or bisexual women with breast cancer. We are in the design stages and looking to put photos of lesbian and bisexual women who use our forums/services into the booklet. If you would like to appear in the briefing, please send a high resolution photo of yourself in a natural looking pose, or you and your partner, or you and your family into us.
The deadline is next Monday 20th December.

I think it would be really interesting to have a photo of a woman and her family of choice /support system as some of us have been lucky enough to have extensive lesbian support.

Thank you so much for your comments and I’m really sorry for the email problems- unfortunately my inbox was overloaded whilst I was away over the Christmas period, hence the bouncebacks. My inbox has now been cleared so anyone else who wants to email me can now do so on the address previously posted in the thread. I have not received any photos so if you did send them, I’m afraid they didn’t get through to me so feel free to send again (by the 13th January at the latest). Once again, I’m sorry if you’ve spent time trying to get in touch and the tight deadlines.
