Photo shoot in London on Monday - can you help?

We’re doing a photo shoot in SW London (near Putney Bridge) on Monday 11 March to get new images for our leaflets. A couple of our volunteer models have dropped out and we need to recruit replacements at short notice – can you help by taking part in the photo shoot? For this shoot we’re able to pay fairly local travel expenses, so please get in touch if you can easily travel to SW London.

These photos will illustrate our services such as our courses and meet-ups. The people in the photos are volunteers and people affected by breast cancer. You can see the type of photos and leaflets at www.breastcancercare.org.uk/publications

We are looking for people affected by primary and secondary breast cancer. It’s important that our leaflets reflect the wide range of people who use our services and we would especially welcome African-Caribbean, Asian and older volunteers.

NB although this photo shoot is in London, we’re hoping to do photo shoots in other parts of the UK later this year so please also get in touch if you’re not local to London but would be interested in taking part in a shoot outside London later this year.

Hiya, I’m from Manchester but could try and get down to London on Monday if you were really struggling, childcare permitting. Hopefully some ladies from nearer London will see this and come along though so you don’t need me cos I’d hate to think it had had to be cancelled.

Thanks very much to everyone who has offered to help with our photo shoot in London on Monday. We now have enough people with a diagnosis of primary breast cancer.
However, we are still looking for people with a diagnosis of secondary breast cancer to take part.
