Hi, i have never been on a forum before but i am finding things hard. I found a lump in my left breast just before Christmas, got it checked by my GP, she was quite sure it was just a cyst but offered a referral for a mammogram (thankfully). I had mammogram, ultrasound and biospy during one appointment at the hospital, After I was told they dont know what it is. Later i found out there are indeterminate cells and they think its a phylodes tumor. I had an MRI scan which showed two in my right breast also, that look the same as the one in my left ( i cant feel them and they didnt show in mammogram, which i now know is because i have extremely dense breast tissue) i have had biopsies on these and the one in my left has now been removed, i am just waiting to hear back with results of all of them. The waiting is so hard. I feel a bit bad posting this as there are so many people on here that are in much worse situations. How you all cope with it is amazing.

Morning pinkorchid,
Dont ever feel bad about posting your concerns and worries on here, thats what this site/forum is for.
You are worried and anxious thats understandable. Unfortunately my diagnosis is/was completely different to yourself. It appears your MDT team are looking at your case and results and will come back to you very soon with a plan of action. I know its hard not to stress over this, unfortunately this is the hardest part is the waiting.
Please be assured you are not alone.

Thank you for your kind words. I have found out that they are all benign so i am so relieved and thankful. Im sorry to hear your diagnosis was not so good, I do hope you are going to be alright.
Im still struggling a little because i havent received any letters about them, I logged into patient access and nhs login, i can see one letter on each, i can also see the result of my mri scan which says i have extremely dense breast tissue in both breasts (which explains why the lesions in my right breast didnt show up on my mammogram) which worries me as i could develop more tumors and not know as i cant feel the ones in my right breast (i find that quite scary). I have questions about all these things but I dont know who to ask or where to turn. I feel bad that im not feeling as happy as i think i should. My mum had breast cancer, so did her mum and my mums aunt had it.
