Pilot study into the needs of women who have children

Will you share your experience?

Hello

Talking to children comes up regularly on the secondary forums as well as in our other services. We need to understand more about what support parents are offered and what is needed in the UK. Some of you may remember last year we had a one off live chat session for parents and then got a list of specific resources for children. Below is a link to a pilot study which will feed into a larger study to understand the level of support parents are given in the UK and help us decide how best Breast Cancer Care can work to provide support and information to parents with secondary breast cancer.

If you are living with secondary breast cancer and your children are between the ages 0-18 I hope you will share your experience and views. Taking part in the study should take about 10-20 minutes. As the aim of the study is to understand the issues to feed into Breast Cancer service plans, the study is only for parents living in the United Kingdom.

Absolutely - really important and unaddressed issue.

Thank you for filling in this survey and it was great to get the required number of responses so quickly. We will now work on the questions to make the next part of the study more effective and worthwhile.

Thanks again.
