Pink Gorilla - Thanks for support on Pink Ribbonwalk at Bakewell

Hi. Just wanted to say a big thank you to BCC officials and other walkers for their support during the 20 mile walk at Bakewell.

 

I was the guy in the Pink Gorilla outfit by the way :slight_smile:

 

I was walking for Team Maria in memory of my wife Maria who died 8 months ago from cancer. She loved walking and loved Derbyshire, so the 20 mile walk in Bakewell was both appropriate and quite fitting.

 

Also, thanks to the female walker who bought and handed me a beer at the finish line. Much appreciated :slight_smile:

 

We have raised just over £2000 so far for Breast Cancer Care but hoping to get a bit more before the deadline.
